Rötspitze

From Kasern in the inner Ahrntal valley (1595 m), follow trail no. 11 down to the Talbach stream, then climb through the forest to the bridge over the Rötbach stream, continue on trail no. 11 and past various remains of the mine up a steep slope to the Äu&szlig Rötalm (2116 m, bar), now almost level through the Röttal into and finally moderately steep up to the Lenkjöchlhütte near the Überggang into the Windtal (2590 m; from Kasern 3–3½ hrs.); here, refreshment.
