Großartige Hochtour über die Kegelgasslalm auf den Löffler bei St. Johann im Ahrntal - ein sehr alpines Abenteuer

Zunächst Anfahrt von St. Johann über die Höfestraße hinauf zum Parkplatz unweit der Jausenstation Stallila (1472 m). Von da auf dem neu errichteten "Putzweg" oder über die Forststraße (Markierung 20) hinauf zur Hoferpauler-Oberhütte. Links ab und stets auf dem Fußweg Nr. 19 teilweise über Stufen empor zur Kegelgasslhütte (2123 m - Jausenstation). Bei Nächtigung bitte vormerken, nur kleines Schlaflager. Kurz der Markierung 19 in Richtung Schwarzensteinhütte folgen, dann bei der Beschilderung "Großer Löffler" rechts ab und auf markiertem Steig (zum Teil mit Steinmännchen) über Moränenhänge hinauf bis zum östlichen Rand des Trippbachkees. Über dem Gletscher steil hinauf in Richtung Trippachscharte. Der Übergang über die große Randspalte ändert sich ständig. Hier ist eine Absicherung und alpine Erfahrung erforderlich. Kurze Kletterei auf die Trippachscharte, dann wieder über Gletscher in Richtung Löffler. Je nach Verhältnisse über Schnee oder Fels (Blockkletterei) sich rechts haltend
