One of the most beautiful routes in Ticino over inclined slabs and a steeper pillar upswing in the beautiful Maggia valley gneiss, very often climbed, very well secured
The route offers 11 pitches over 420 meters of climbing on the left edge of the Speroni di Ponte Brolla rock face. The typical Maggia Valley gneiss is a real pleasure and extremely solid. The route is divided into two parts. In the first 6 pitches you dance across inclined slabs. From the 7th pitch you climb a steeper pillar upswing in the structured rock up to the exit. The protection with bolts is very good. Mobile security devices are not required. Since there is usually a lot going on on the route, it is better to take the footpath as a descent variant. Otherwise you can abseil up to the 7th pitch on the route.
The aim of the Outdooractive Climbing site is to bring you professional climbing content of the highest quality alongside all the information you could need for your climbing holiday or when tackling your next route. In addition to a wide variety of multi-pitch routes, we will also be featuring sport climbing areas in greater detail in the near future.
