Informationen zu Pension Moarhof

It's not by chance that the Moarhof in Terento in Val Pusteria has the word "hof" in it – that is, farm. For no less than half a century farming has been practiced here, and it has been the Leitner family's business for generation – at 1,300 meters above sea level in the hamlet of Margen, and always in a sustainable way. Holidays at the Moarhof are therefore real farm holidays. And they are, as they should be, holidays in nature – surrounded by meadows and forests. Nothing disturbs the calm, nothing detracts relaxation, nowhere is as peaceful as it is here.
Farming is not the only thing that the Leitner family does well. For over 40 years the doors of the farm have also been open to guests. This experience is reflected in the management of the pension. They are professional, but no less friendly and genuine. therefore every guest feels at home. The Moarhof is ideal for families: children will find plenty of space to play and run, no dangers lurk around the corner, and there are plenty of insights into farming life.
Calm, warm hospitality and an insight into life on the farm, however, are not the only qualities with which the Moarhof is renowned for. Also its location is optimal. Terento is one of the sunniest villages in an anyway sunny South Tyrol – it lies at the entrance of the Val Pusteria, in the resort area of Plan de Corones. In winter and in summer you are in the perfect place – as hikers, mountain climbers, skiers or just as a connoisseur. For wellbeing is a priority at the Pension Moarhof: from the hearty breakfast buffet to Tyrolean specialties and Mediterranean dishes in the evening.

Terento is deemed Tyrol's sunny village par excellence. Those who want to enjoy some rest in the open air - along with the sun - are in the right place at the Pension Moarhof in Terento.

One thing is for sure: at the Moarhof you will not spend too much time in the rooms. This has, however, certainly nothing to do with the rooms. The simple rooms are well equipped, bright, spacious and family-friendly. Equally comfortable are the dining room and lounge at the Moarhof. Nevertheless, you will spend the most time outdoors: on the farm, while hiking, on the ski slopes – in nature, in any case, to be enjoyed to the fullest here.

Bright, spacious, family-friendly

Apropos wellbeing – your day at Moarhof begins with the pleasure of a hearty breakfast. And the breakfast lives up to its promises at the farm: traditional rye bread or smoked bacon with juniper berries are only two of the farm specialties, which will give you the strenght needed for an eventful day. And if you book half board, evening meals will also be a treat. Typical South Tyrol dishes are served on the table, such as barley soup, cheese dumplings or dumplings, but also subtle Mediterranean dishes. The variety of South Tyrol is therefore also reflected in the cuisine at the Pension Moarhof.
