From the Sanctuary of Maria Weissenstein/Pietralba to the Laabalm

Directions

The winter hike with snowshoes starts on the parking lot in the Sanctuary of Maria Weissenstein/Pietralba. Take Trail No. 8 to Pichlwiese. Turn left and take the forest Trail No. E5 into the valley Köser. The tour continues to Neuhütt ( 1791m ) and on the forest route No. 1 to Laabalm ( 1649m ). Passing the Petersberg Leger ( 1529m ) it goes back to the starting point to the Sanctuary of Maria Weissenstein/Pietralba.

Variante

To the Laabalm
From the parking lot in the Sanctuary of Maria Weissenstein/Pietralba, take Forest Trail No. 2 to the Leger of Petersberg / Monte S. Pietro (1 hour). Rest-stop with refreshments. Continue on Trail No. 1B through the forest to the Laabalm (closed).

To the Neuhütt
From the village center in Deutschnofen / Nova Ponente, drive by care to the Bar Arche (parking and refreshments). Proceed on foot (15 minutes) to the Bielhof. From there, continue on snowshoes on Trail No. 1 until you come to the Laabalm (closed). Continue on to the Neuhütt / Capanna Nuova (hosted) and, if you want, to the Auerleger (hosted). Return on the same route back to Deutschnofen / Nova Ponente.
