For beginners or for improving one's technique, the area has countless ski schools managed by professional instructors.
Kids will surely have their fill of fun and games in the area's snow playgrounds, all generally equipped with magic carpets, sled and tubing runs, igloos, games, tunnels, bangy ball and beginner slopes. The area also offers ice skating and a curling field on ice, the chance to climb ice falls, of exploring Italy's largest national park on snow shoes or of practicing ski-mountaineering. Snow equipment can be rented on location.
Near the Pejo ski area and well connected via snowbus is the great Folgarida-Marilleva and Madonna di Campiglio ski carousel offering over 120 of runs. All of these areas are part of the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta system.
