Informationen zur Tour Angelo Grande
From the terminal at the top of the Pulpito skilift we go past the skilift chalet, across the gentle west side (risk of avalanches at times). We keep on the right side of the rocky boulders. Here is the Rifugio Serristori, 2,720 m. We go down a small hollow with a signpost. From here we turn right as far as the pole, 2,860 m, then along the hollow to reach the foot of the summit, 2,920 m. We go up in a diagonal line keeping right as far as the rocky boulder, 3,130 m. At this stage the route becomes steeper (carry your skis on your shoulder if necessary) and takes us to a flat ledge, 3,240 m. We continue as far as the crest, 3,350 m, and left of the Angelo Pass. The crest becomes thinner and thinner. Leave your skis. At 3,480 m we head left from the crest to the snowfield and from here to the top. Descent via the same route. Or, via the Angelo Pass, across the Lasa glacier heading south, as far as the Rosim Pass and from here down through the valley of the same name (see Cima Vertana route).
We go back up the Zai Valley to the left of the stream. The route starts off very steeply then gradually less steeply up the rocky wall near the Rifugio Serristori. We go just to the left of the wall and at 2,570 m we head right for the rifugio.
