From Bozen to the MendelpassThis 120 km long route brings you from the city of Bozen into the valley Nonstal that is located right next to the Brenta Dolomites. The first part is ideal to warm up as you drive along the river Etsch. In San Michele all’Adige you start to follow the river Noce and the ascent onto the western flank of the Nonstal valley, where you can admire the numerous apple orchards.

Across the MendelpassIf only all the mountain passes were as simple as the Mendelpass! Calm incline, wide roads and a dramatic finale with narrow passages through the rock formations just before the highest point. On the other hand, it takes a while to get decently high and eventually get to the side of the lake Kalterer See. Your legs, though, will be thankful for the easy way uphill.
