Der Transalp ist in 5 Etappen aufgeteilt, die einzelnen Etappenorte sind: Bayrischzell (Start) -> Wiesing -> Sterzing -> Lana -> San Michele -> Torbole

Speed and cornering funThis road bike tour takes you up an Alpine pass that connects the Passeier Valley with the Wipp Valley. There are no steep passages via the Etschtal to Merano and on to St. Leonhard. After these pleasant kilometres to warm up, you gain altitude with every step. This road bike route is a foray through South Tyrol's climatic zones and villages.

Over Jaufenpass and Penserjoch.This tour over two high passes between Merano and Sterzing is a hammer round, both in terms of the total distance and the lengths of the climbs. No matter how you twist and turn it, you are not spared a continuous climbing act of around 40 kilometres at a stretch. The tour is described here in a clockwise direction, but it can also be ridden counter-clockwise.

What could be better as a child than the thought of going on holiday? When I was a child, I went on holiday with my family to Lake Garda every year. Even today, I still regularly travel to this wonderful place and even today I feel exactly this feeling of stream tingling full of joy just before a holiday at Lake Garda. Because of these childhood memories and close relationship to the region of the Lake Garda, it has long been my wish to ride this route which always seemed endless to me as a child full of excitement for a holiday, once on a road bike. Because I believe when you master the path with pure physical strength, a whole new perception and emotion arises - and that's exactly what I want to experience!
