Road cycling routes in Fondo

The tour over the Mendel and Gampen Passes is an absolute classic that is definitely not to be missed during a stay in the Bolzano and Merano s countryside.

Challenging circuit over two serious passes, the Gampen and Mendel passes. In between, a ramp at Castelfondo gets in the way

The route encompasses the home training grounds of all of the greats from the Val di Non, from the former World Cycling Champion Maurizio Fondriest to current stars Gianni Moscon and Letizia Paternoster.
