With more than 1,500 m of elevation gain over a distance of almost 100 km, this tour should not be taken lightly. The route encompasses the home training grounds of all of the greats from the Val di Non, from the former World Cycling Champion Maurizio Fondriest to current stars Gianni Moscon and Letizia Paternoster.

From Bozen to the MendelpassThis 120 km long route brings you from the city of Bozen into the valley Nonstal that is located right next to the Brenta Dolomites. The first part is ideal to warm up as you drive along the river Etsch. In San Michele all’Adige you start to follow the river Noce and the ascent onto the western flank of the Nonstal valley, where you can admire the numerous apple orchards.

From wine to apples.A wonderful, long excursion from the South Tyrolean Wine Road into the Non Valley with a detour to the high-altitude Lake Tovel. For once, you roll down the Mendel Pass towards the east. The low start in Kurtatsch has the advantage that you can warm up to Mezzocorona before the first climbs into the Nonstal valley with its green apple orchards begin.
