With more than 1,500 m of elevation gain over a distance of almost 100 km, this tour should not be taken lightly. The route encompasses the home training grounds of all of the greats from the Val di Non, from the former World Cycling Champion Maurizio Fondriest to current stars Gianni Moscon and Letizia Paternoster.

Vom Wein zu den Äpfeln.Ein herrlicher, weiter Ausflug von der Südtiroler Weinstraße ins Nonstal mit einem Abstecher zum hoch gelegenen Tovelsee. Den Mendelpass rollt man ausnahmsweise einmal Richtung Osten hinab. Der tiefe Start in Kurtatsch hat den Vorteil, dass man sich bis Mezzocorona warm fahren kann, bevor die ersten Anstiege ins Nonstal mit seinen grünen Apfelplantagen beginnen.

From Bozen to the MendelpassThis 120 km long route brings you from the city of Bozen into the valley Nonstal that is located right next to the Brenta Dolomites. The first part is ideal to warm up as you drive along the river Etsch. In San Michele all’Adige you start to follow the river Noce and the ascent onto the western flank of the Nonstal valley, where you can admire the numerous apple orchards.

Einfacher Rundweg über 41 km, rund um den See von Santa Giustina. Über wenig befahrene Straßen (mit Ausnahme von wenigen kurzen Abschnitten) reicht die Tour bis nach Rumo im Norden. Die Tour kann von allen Ortschaften entlang des Weges ausgehend begonnen werden.
