This itinerary starts in Prato all'Isarco – Blumau north of Bolzano. Take the cycling path northwards and cycle to Bressanone. Once in Bressanone, leave the cycling path and follow the directions for the station and then cycle towards Volturno – Feldthurns. You will cycle along a beautiful slightly uphill panoramic road that will lead you to Volturno. From here, a more technical downhill road will lead you to Chiusa where you will find the other cycling path of the Isarco Valley. Take the cycling path and return towards Ponte Gardena – Waidbruck south of Chiusa. Once you have reached the town, cycle through the historical centre and on the other side of the town, you will find the second climb of the day. Cycle for several kilometres to the Gardena Valley road (SS242), then cycle downhill for a short distance until you reach a crossroads where you will see directions for Albions. You will reach Albions after a short, but steep uphill cycle. Once you reach the town, turn right at the fountain and cycle along a beautiful flat road that runs through a wood. At the crossroads cycle once again uphill towards Lajon – Lajen and continue on a beautiful road towards St. Peter and you will find yourself once again on the Gardena main road (SS242). Continue into the valley until just before Ortiséi and then turn right and cycle through a small uphill tunnel towards Sella di Pinedo – Panider Sattel and Castelrotto. Continue towards Siusi at the Sciliar, and then towards Fiè allo Sciliar. Turn left at the small roundabout in the direction of Umes fi Fiè – Ums. This small road will lead you to Colonna – Prösels and will then connect with the road for Tires. Keep your right and cycle rapidly downhill towards Blumau.
