Ausstellung zur Flora, Flora und Geologie der Bündner Berge sowie zur alpinen Kultur

The Alpine Museum is located in an old Engadin house, the Chesa Delnon. The façade bears the date of 1716, but the foundation walls and parts of the interior are even older. The Alpine Museum is a remarkably well-preserved 17th century farmhouse complex, to which extensions and panelling were subsequently added. On show are both permanent fixtures and exhibitions.

Old Engadin house with a hallway, living room, kitchen, larder and bedroom; library of the Bernina section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC); summer and winter alpinism from pioneering times, to the conquest of the Bernina Massif, to the present day; bird collection and bird songs by Gian Saratz, featuring 133 species of Upper Engadin birdlife; SAC alpine huts and furnishings from an old SAC hut; minerals from the Upper Engadin, Bregaglia and Puschlav regions and other parts of the world by Dr. Ernst Sury; Bronze Age copper smelting from Madulain/Val d'Escha; items from medieval mining activities in the Val Minor, including silver and lead ores, tools. The hunt, the game and the environment with prepared animals.

Mulimedia show "Alpine flora", Mountain experience", "butterflies" and " nineteenth-century british visitors and their church in Pontresina".
