The Barbiano Waterfalls are a spectacular destination for hikers.
The Barbiano Waterfalls consist of eight waterfalls in total gushing down a steep valley 200 m high. Not far from Barbiano in the Isarco Valley, the power of the Rio Ganda has eroded the hard rock, forming canals and basins. The most spectacular among the eight waterfalls are the highest and the lowest that pour down drops of 85 and 45 metres. The lowest and most powerful waterfall can be reached easily via the hiking trails and is highly appreciated by visitors.
