Moraine Wall on the Fursch

Unique traces of a former glacier on the Flumserberg.
In the depression between Fursch and Magerrain, three striking, elongated hills can be traced. The lowest lies only a few metres behind Fursch. Each of these moraine walls consists of material that was dragged along by the former glacier and piled up at the edge of the ice. Each of these walls marks a stop of the glacier during its retreat. In the evening light, the moraine walls are especially visible.
