In einer Höhe von 2.275 Metern liegt am Gipfelplateau des Kronplatzes bei Bruneck das Messner Mountain Museum Corones, entworfen von Zaha Hadid. Nicht nur von außen, auch von innen bietet es dem Besucher eine beeindruckende Architektur und ein 360° Gänsehaut-Panorama. In dem Guide führt Reinhold Messner seine Besucher persönlich durch sein Museumsgebäude und lässt sie in die Welt des traditionellen Alpinismus eintauchen, bei dem Triumph und Tragödie so nah wie in keinem anderen Sport stehen.

This place boasts a breathtaking view over Sass dla Crusc, Sass de Putia, Val Badia, and Val Pusteria, and Lé de Rina, a picturesque lake, lies in its near vicinity.
