This peak is the highest of the mountains that form the Peaks of Bragarolo (Cime di Bragarolo). The ascent is both long and exhausting, but not difficult. The wild environment is only rarely frequented, allowing the observation of wild animals. The peak offers a very wide panorama over the mountain group Pala.

Directions

From the parking area you follow the road in the south-western direction along the southern bank of the Lake Paneveggio. After having arrived at the first crossing in the forest you turn left, entering the wild and forested valley of the Rio di Val Ceremana (river).
In the isolated and solitary environment you reach the Baito di Ceremana (1530 m) and the next crossing in Pian di Ceremana (1551 m, sign to the bivouac A. Moro). By leaving the road you turn right onto a nice path that rises steeply through the northern slope of the Bragarolo (path no. 376). After having reached approx. 2000 m you will leave the greenery and with a more and more open view of the surrounding peaks, you will circle around the modest elevation of the Bragarolo on the eastern side. Having reached its southern side you will continue on a wide slope out of rocky ledges to rise onto the ridge, arriving in the bleak environment, continuously going south. Crossing path no. 349 via this path you will soon reach the watershed of the mountain crest. Near the foot of the mountain Bragarolo you will also come close to the bivouac A. Moro (2565 m). To reach the peak we now face the north-western rubble slope. Surmounting it, you arrive at the top of this peak with the cross (2692 m) without any difficulties. The visitors can now enjoy a very wide and spectacular panorama onto the eastern Lagorai, the mountain group Pala, the mountainous subgroup (untergruppe) Folga-Scanaiol and the massif of the Cima d’Asta. Following the entire route of the ascension you will return to the valley.
