Directions

From Colle Isarco – Gossensass, to the south of Brennero, we will cross the entire valley of Flerés – Pflersch all the way to the last car park close to the «in der Hölle» waterfall (1,465 m). Route 6 along the stream runs up through the woods, then on hills, then on a zigzag path across steep, rocky meadows leading to the Magdeburger mountain hut (2,423 m, sleeps 80, 2.5 – 3 hours from the car park). We will follow route 7, with several ups and downs (with fixed ropes in sections) to cross a steep slope leading to a cirque; from here a steep, zigzag path across meadows and rocks (equipped with fixed ropes in parts) takes you to the foot of the higher dolomites (2,870 m).  We leave route 7 (that runs along an exposed ledge) to follow the stone figures along a mountainside of rock and rubble. We will reach the summit in 20 minutes with a few easy climbs (3,016 m, 2 hours from the refuge). Return via the same route.
