This is the highest peak of the Lagorai-group and offers next to its wilderness also an unforgettable view over the Pala-group. The short but challenging rise is best done in autumn and lacks any paths on many parts of it. Especially the last track, on steep slopes and the southern crest, is even more challenging.

Directions

You follow the asphalt road down to the entry of the forest road on the right side (signs). Turning right again (junction 358/347) you follow a bridle path that ends near a river. Now you follow a path in the forest until you reach a clearing, which you cross. The path continues decisively uphill and goes through larches and firs, arriving on the meadows of the Val Pisorno. The path no. 347 enters in a slope to the south-east, right and over known slopes.
Over unpleasant meadows and streams of water you continue to rise in the steep but easy canal, reaching an overhanging crest. Behind it you will find a beautiful lake (2100 m, nice view onto the peak). After passing the lake to the south you can continue between blocks and grassy slopes (direction north-west) to reach another small lake (2200 m). From this point you can reach the peak. Initially through a modestly steep slope and then on very steep grassy canals you will reach the saddle on the southern crest of the mountain (2420 m).
Now you follow the grassy ridge and the rocky blocks until you reach a crack near the peak of a canyon; two passes and you can touch the small stone-man of the peak Scanaiol (2467 m, beautiful panorama).
Going north you will reach a saddle on 2418 m and the northern pre-peak of the Scanaiol (2443 m). Turning left (east) you can descent through a steep canal with grass and blocks, pointing to a fork on 2271 m.
On the crest in the eastern direction you can now reach the broad peak of the Agnelessa (2307 m), a wide and beautiful balcony with a view onto the Pala-group. Descending on the south you will reach a grassy ridge that falls steeply onto tufts on the right. To the left you will come to the lake on 2100 m, where you can follow the path of the ascent to come back to the parking area.
