We find ourselves in the southern branch of the Pala-group for an exciting hike onto the peak and its beautiful views over the central area of the group. The ascent offers a unique spectacle through a forest of towers, pinnacles and bell-towers. Very recommended, especially in autumn!

From the pass we go back until we can turn right onto a secondary road (only for residents), leading to the Farm Maso Brunet (1434 m). Shortly after we turn left onto path 718 in the direction of Forcella d’Oltro and Rifugio Treviso (High Path of the Dolomites no. 2). The path gets steep very soon and over some hairpin curves you will reach a mesmerizing fir-forest. After passing a big, grassy canal you continue through the now rare vegetation and the steep meadows until you reach the Campanili di Regade (towers, pinnacles and rocky needles); following the fantastic surroundings we pass some forks and reach another very steep canyon, which leads to a broad grassy ridge, in the north-eastern direction.
From the junction on 2140 m we leave the path 718 and turn left in the direction of the Regade-pass; to reach the Monte Feltraio you can also, instead of going back to the pass, face the steep and grassy slopes, leading to the south-western crest of the mountain.
Reaching it on 2200 m ca. (view on the mountain Sass Maor), we follow the edge of the mountainous crest (sharp an airy) that brings you onto the peak of the mountain Feltraio, on the last track between some rocks (panorama on the Pala-group, the Agordine Dolomites and the Cimonega-peaks).
For the descent you follow the path on western side, down into the valley Val Canali. Following the steep gravel road you will come to the pass Regade Trail. On the end of the descent you will reach the mentioned pass (2200 m), turning south-west to climb to the panorama point with a cross (2245 m, view over the valley Primiero). Following a very steep grassy canyon, traversed by gravelly landslides (south-eastern slope), you come back to the path 718, leading back to the Cereda pass.
