The walk up Hohe Weisse starts at the car park in Pfelders (1628 m). First walk along the pleasant forest path leading past Lazinserhof (1772 m) and on to Lazinseralm (1860 m). From here, take the steep track (old military road) zigzagging up to Stettinerhütte (2875 m). Briefly descend to Eisjöchl then up again across the steep basin to the start of the eastern ridge (3050 m). After crossing the ridge (Grafscharte), descend around 50 vertical meters to the basin then steeply uphill (rock cairns) via the northern flank and on to more even ground towards the summit plateau. Soon you will reach the summit of Hohe Weisse (3278 m).
Descent: via the same route.
You need to be sure-footed and be especially careful at the eastern ridge up to Grafscharte. There is a danger of falling rocks at the northern flank.
