To the west you follow a rocky path that leads into the forest. You follow the signs “Dagnola-Piz Gallin” and you cross a street more than once until you reach a curve on 1470 m, where the path n. 301 starts.
You continue to the left and on a forest road (353) until you reach the meadows of the hut Daniola di Cavedago (1578 m, view of Paganella and Dolomiti Fassane). To the right you continue along the steep forest path and by the end you can easily get into the lonely basin of the alp Dagnola Alta (1822 m) to the foot of the pyramid-like Piz Galin.
You continue steeply to the right (west) until you reach 1956 m, where you turn right again (north) to climb a lonely valley. After having reached Bocchetta del Gallino (2130 m), you continue to the right of the grassy hill to reach the Cima Dagnola (2195 m) at its top, a humble peak with a good view of the Cima Brenta, Cima Roma, Monte Fibbion, Val dei Cavai.
You get back to the junction of the paths (1956 m) and continue in the direction of Molveno along the path 352. This way you will reach a junction and the irrelevant but clear grassy elevation Monticello (1838 m). You continue downhill to Prati di Monte (1820 m) and go left until you reach the junction with path 344B.
After the descent into the valley to reach Fontanella (1503 m), you continue through the fir forest until you reach 1270 m to turn left onto a small path (blue signs). To the north east and on 1194 m you will reach a junction with a road to the ex-arboretum (1120 m). You follow the signs to Maso Pegorar (n. 5) and after having walked across the Pian della Lipa (1170 m), you descent further to your starting point.
