This MTB takes riders up and down over the "Rosszähne" (horse's teeth) ridge in Kaltern (Caldaro).

Starting in Kaltern, ride north and turn left off the cycle path down into the Altenloch. Then turn right along the orchards and left from the Unterberg mountain up to the Frühlingstal valley. Continue following the path southwards and down the steep descent to the Kreither Sattel (Kreither pass – 382m). From here, ride initially along the forest road (marked 13A) and then on 13 past the Leuchtenburg castle to the Rosszähne ridge. Next, take a pretty trail down to forest road 13A and follow it back to the north. Shortly before the tar road turn left onto a single trail (no.13) down to the lake and then ride on cycle path 20B, later 20A back to Kaltern.

From the Rosszähne ridge, take trail 13 down to Gmund. WARNING: Parts of this trail are very difficult with some exposed sections. From Gmund ride uphill to the right and take the asphalt road back to Klughammer at Lake Kaltern (Kalterer See).

Die Strecke ist bei den Rosszähnen und vor dem Kreither Sattel nicht mittel sondern schwer. Das GPS stimmt dort überhaupt nicht!

The GPX file of this track, takes you through a path that is overgrown with plants and seems to be not in use anymore. It appears that the correct route is shifted or the path is in much need of maintenance.
