Since the winter olympic games in 1956, cortina has become
one of the most important centres in the Dolomites, with a large tourism-based infrastructure. Located at an elevation of 1200 m in the Val Boite, this town is surrounded by stunning mountains: tofane, cristallo, Sorapiss, Antelao and Pelmo. the area is pretty much designed to host numerous mountain biking itineraries with some of the most breath-taking panoramic views. Some of these have been selected and accurately sign-posted for all grades of difficulty.
