Mountain bike ride from Brixen (Bressanone) to the Anratterhütte and up to the Stoanamandl rock statues above Spinges (Spinga)


From the car park, start riding north on the cycle path. Cross the Isarco (Eisack) and follow path 15 to Oberdorf. Continue on the T path to the Steinraffl restaurant and from here take the gravel path no.8 to Schabs (Sciaves – 775m). Ride along the main street to the Hotel Sonneck and continue uphill on gravel (path 9). Turn left soon and ride along path 9a to the Urlaubstöckl chapel. Now ride along the road, turn right at the second crossroads and follow the blue-white markings until you reach the Wetterkreuz (weather cross – 1357m). The tour continues uphill on path 9 past the Anratterhütte (1821m) and up to the upper station of the Jochtal lift (2000m). Turn left here and cross the Ochsenalm up to the Stoanamandl rock statues (2118m). From there, first go downhill on a challenging single track. Take the Knappensteig trail (marked red-white) to Witzbrücke and continue along the Sarnweg. Turn left to the Schweigerhof guesthouse and ride through Spinges (Spinga) and down path 7 to Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria). Turn right here and follow the signs for trail 9a. Before you get to Aicha, turn left onto path 8a and ride down into the Riggertal (Val Riga). Continue on path 8 and then the T path to reach Neustift. Return to Brixen (Bressanone) via path 16 and then take the cycle path back to the starting point.
