The panoramic trail from the hamlet of Valgiarei to Wengen will leave a lasting impression. Campill (Longiarù), an alpine village with a history stretching back to the 14th century is worth visiting. Its "Viles" farmhouses are typical for the region and are some of the oldest settlements in Alta Badia. Take a break in the Speckstube, which has been producing its homemade speck since 1970. A short trip to St. Leonhard is also worthwhile. It is the birthplace of Father Joseph Freinademetz, who was canonised by Pope John Paul II in 2003. Many more people are likely to know one of its most popular photo motifs: the St. Leonhard parish church.
