From the Porta Vescovo cable car parking, this tour mainly consists of secondary roads and forest paths. Only two brief sections run on the main road, very trafficked in high sea- son. The climb to the highest point of the tour is moderately steep and the downhill to Ornella is technically easy. From the hotel al Forte there are still 170 vertical metres to be conquered.

The Sellaronda is a milestone for skiers and excursionists. Up to WW 1 this area was part of Austria; today it’s part of the province of Belluno. It has only been for a few years that mountain bikers have been riding this route using the help of lift facilities.
