Directions
This itinerary has been made available by the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike organising committee
The long itinerary is 110 km long with a 3357 m incline (ascent). At km 15,2 the long itinerary separates from the short one and carries on along the traditional route of the Dolomiti Superbike in direction of the Silvestro alpine hut. The following ascent between the Dolomiti di Sesto takes us to the uphill station of the Croda Rossa immediately followed by a descent towards the Bagni di Moso and the town of Sesto. Along the cycling path in direction of San Candido you will be faced with a short but tough ascent towards the uphill station of the Baranci passing by the famous springs of San Candido.
The descent along the sleigh slope take us, passing by the sports structures and the sources of the Drava river, to the railway station in Dobbiaco. From there take the old railway road for Cortina d’Ampezzo, passing by the Dobbiaco and Landro lakes then we face the last 7 km ascent towards Prato Piazza – the highest point of the tour situated at 2000 metres. Once we have reached the highest spot of this tour we can stop and admire the breathtaking view on the Braies Dolomites, Cortina and Sesto. The descent guides us towards the town of Braies and after a few km of asphalt we arrive back at the starting point in Villabassa.

KleMTB R
