Route

The itinerary starts in Campo Tures – Sand in Taufers in Valle Aurina. Follow the main road for Riva di Tures – Rein in Taufers from where path N.9 branches off to Val dei Dossi. Keep going until you reach the Knuttenalm alpine hut. From the alpine hut keep going along path N.9 and you will reach Lago di Gola – Klammlsee where you will have to carry on until the Passo di Gola – Klammljoch. Once you reach the pass keep going on path N.111 in Val Arvental until the end of the valley. You will arrive in Val Defreggental where you will have to carry on until the Patscherhütte mountain hut and the the Alpenrose lodging. Here the road divides and you will have to follow for Passo di Stallo – Stallersattel. Once you reach the pass you will have fun going downhill through various hairpin turns that guide you to the Anterselva lake. Carry on towards the valley floor passing by the Biathlon centre. Once you reach the valley floor and the Val Pusteria state highway, ride on the cycling lane that will take you to Brunico then Campo Tures.
