Mountain biking trails in Val di Fiemme

The classic of the Val d'Ega: the Latemar Circumnavigation offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Dolomite mountains and is a dream tour for all those who want to get very close to the Latemar by mountain bike.

A perfect itinerary, full of evocative views of the Latemar and Catinaccio Dolomites. The stop at the crystal clear Lake Carezza, a pearl set among fir woods, is truly memorable.

The circumnavigation of the Latemar group impresses with its stunning panorama. Steep climbs and even steeper descents, however, require excellent physical condition and equally good riding technique. 

Route that enhances lesser known places in Val di Fiemme such as Val di Stava and the pastures near Varena. The lifts lead to the panoramic starting point, at an altitude of 2121 meters.

Fascinating route, it allows you to cross two suggestive Tibetan bridges from which you can see the sparkling waterfalls of the Travignolo stream.

With the exception of a few difficult passages, the circumnavigation of the Latemar group is relatively easy in terms of riding technique, impressive in terms of scenery and, thanks to the cable car support, not very demanding in terms of fitness for reasonably fit mountain bikers.

On this tour we have a varied route ahead of us. We cycle along the railway line of the former Fleimstal railway, enter the Trudner Horn Nature Park and have a magnificent view of the surrounding valleys from the pulpit.
