Through the Spronser TalVillage Tyrol is only 6 kilometres from the spa town of Merano and lies broadly on a sunny panoramic terrace. Not far from it rises the mighty Castle Tyrol, today the seat of the South Tyrolean Regional Museum of Culture and History.

Along the PasserThis cycle path leads through the unique landscape of the Passeier Valley. With an even gradient, it runs mostly on gravel roads and is signposted in an exemplary manner.

"Sandwirt"The Pfandler Alm is located high above St. Martin in Passeier, namely in Prantach, at 1350 m above sea level. Historically, the alp gained its fame in 1809. The freedom fighter from St. Leonhard, Andreas Hofer - also called "Sandwirt" - fled from the French troops. He hid on the Pfandler Alm for a few months; in 1810 he was arrested and shot in Mantua.
