Die Zweiländer-Mountainbike-Tour ist landschaftlich durchaus reizvoll, insbesondere die Fahrt zur Reschener Alm bzw. zum Grün- und Schwarzsee. Die Auffahrt in das Nauderer Schigebiet bildet hingegen den Gegenpol, wobei das Schigebiet eher am Rande tangiert wird. Historisch besonders interessant ist das weitläufige Plamort auf über 2000 m Seehöhe und oberhalb von Reschen gelegen. Hier zeigt sich die dunkle Geschichte des II. Weltkrieges mit Panzersperren und Bunkern. Die Schwierigkeit der Mountainbike-Tour liegt nach der Reschenalm in einem Trail (offiziell ausgewiesene Route), der aber überwiegend fahrbar ist. Der Trail vom Grünsee zum Schwarzsee ist schwierig und ist mit einem normalen Mountainbike (Hardtail) nicht wirklich fahrbar. Der Besuch des Schwarzsees sollte deshalb über die Forststraße erfolgen. Die alte Militärstraße von Plamort hinunter zum Reschensee ist im ersten Abschnitt teilweise durch Murgänge zerstört. Hier muss das Bike kurz geschoben werden.
