Informationen zu Naturhotel Lüsnerhof
Warm, light and spacious throughout, the “new” Lüsnerhof is one of the most eco-friendly hotels in Europe offering a spa in a charming environment. The new romantic suites have been designed using hardwood for a more natural look and in accordance with the strictest eco architecture without the use of glues, nails or synthetic materials. Natural heating, walls made of mud and straw (like the ancient Indian-American pueblos and Berber tents) feature in the living area, while wooden floors and walls have been used in the sleeping area mainly from arolla pine.
A full range of treatments for the body and mind awaits you in our spa, called “the Baths of Luson”. “The Alpine Baths" are even more exclusive and offer panoramic views. This eco-chalet is arranged over three floors and features hammocks by a fireplace, a pine-infused steam bath, and a rose quartz hammam steam bath.
After a day of skiing or hiking, floating in saline water while listening to music in our “dolomite cave” is an experience not to be missed! Our fitness centre is now ideally located and enjoys great views of the surrounding alpine landscape. Regardless of whether you love a simple walk or a guided hike you will still discover nature in an unspoilt environment. From here you can admire the mountainsides of the Alpe di Luson extending over the valley and reaching the Dolomites of the Val d'Isarco and Austrian Alps.
The Vitalpina Hotels Südtirol is a consortium of the best hotels in Alto Adige that specialise in mountain hiking holidays. The three key elements of the Vitalpina philosophy are: mountain hiking, a healthy diet based on fresh local produce, and modern health spas that provide treatments and services using natural products. All hotel owners are expert mountain hikers and are able to guide you both in winter and summer through the fascinating alpine regions of Alto Adige. From the Ortles to the Dolomites, the Vitalpina Hotels Südtirol is the perfect choice if you’re looking for an activity holiday offering nature hikes in Trentino Alto Adige.

Flavoursome local alpine herbs and organic produce are the main ingredients of the special dishes available on the five-course evening menus. Things to do
Things to do
Luson (950 m) is known by keen hikers as the "hikers' valley”: in fact the side of the valley towards Bressanone is one of the most unspoilt places of the Alps. Easily reached, it is the starting point for numerous hikes and is well served with large car parks. The Luson Valley has everything it takes to be a genuine hikers' paradise.
There are six routes, of differing lengths and degrees of difficulty, which are well signposted with information boards. Furthermore, all the hikes are suitable for Nordic Walking and take you up hills and down valleys along varied and scenic footpaths.
Moreover, you can discover nature on your mountain bike as well!
Snow shoeing expeditions are the most relaxing way to enjoy the Alps in winter. The marvellous Luson Valley, surrounded by plateaus of the Luson Alps and by the towering summits of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, offer the best setting to participate in this sport.
Luson is also the perfect place to have fun with your family on a winter hike, or to enjoy yourselves in one of the sledging runs.
The breath-taking views of the Alps on all sides of the valley, on the threshold of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, makes the Luson Alps the perfect place to go cross-country skiing. There are over 40 km of cross-country trails where you can discover nature at its most unspoilt.
