Long-distance hikes in Vintl

The over 550 km long "Dream Trail" is one of the most famous long-distance hiking trails in the Alpine region. It connects two European cultural metropolises - Munich and Venice.

The Pfunderer Höhenweg runs from Sterzing to Bruneck – through the middle of the Pfunderer mountains in the north of South Tyrol. The tour is about 70 km long and can be hiked in 4 to 6 stages. This tour suggestion includes five stages.

“Alps Traverse Gemellato" (ATG) 2. Teil Diese Alpenüberquerung wird in 4 Teile mit jeweils 8 - 11 Etappen ausgeführt. In diesem Bericht ist nur der zweite Teil: „Alpenhauptkamm - auf einsamen Wegen über Scharten“ von Fügen (Zillertal) über Finkenberg, mit Busverbindung nach Hintertux,  weiter gewandert bis nach Mühlbach (Pustatal), mit der Busverbindung nach Brixen, beschrieben. Diese "ATG2" Mehrtagestouren wurden im August 2020 von einer Gruppe mit 6 Personen gewandert.

Den Weg von Gisse bis Kasern legten wir mit dem Bus zurück.
