The house was built in 1760 as a monastery and has been a well-bourgeois town hotel since the turn of the century. Archduke Ferdinand also appreciated the advantages of our house and spent the night here at his Klagenfurt visit in 1908. Our "Imperial Room" still commemorates this high visit today. Feel like royalty and use the facilities of our house. Enjoy a cup of tea in our tea salon free of charge before going to sleep and let the day end with a pleasurable Kunstlektüre. In our newly designed wine cellar, tasting sessions are conducted by the manager, Mrs. Sonja Kordesch. Everywhere in the house you can find precious treasures from the monarchy and you can become really nostalgic.
