Informationen zu Glogglkeller

The traditional Glögglkeller, in Lana, is on a slope at the beginning of the Roggia di Marlengo, in Lana. This dream location allows customers to admire an enchanting view of the Val d’Adige from the tables in the garden. For many generations, this farmhouse has delighted customers with its traditional specialities. The 300-year old wine cellar bears witness to the skill of many generations in pressing and in the conservation of wines. Old wine barrels and tools that used to be used on the farm now decorate the walls, adding to the authentic atmosphere. The food at Glögglkeller skilfully draws on classic Alto Adige dishes. A local snack with tasty speck goes with dishes based around meatballs or other specialities. At Glögglkeller, customers enjoy their food, that is for sure.

The Glögglkeller, in Lana, is one of the oldest traditional Tyrolean wine bars in the Burgraviato, and it still enchants its customers toady with its rustic style.

Hearty flavours

The Glögglkeller in Lana offers all sorts of traditional delicacies. We serve Tyrolean snacks, with an every-changing selection of cheeses, speck and smoked meats, pancetta, Kaminwurzen (smoked sausages), potatoes with butter and horseradish. There are also more substantial dishes: calf brains, cheese gnocchi and doughnuts for dessert. In autumn, customers are invited to the Törggelen, a celebration of chestnuts, where you will find all sorts of fruit juices, wine and roast chestnuts. Our menu also includes mixed platters of meats and sausages with sauerkraut. There is no shortage of tasty options!

Rustic flavours

The delights of the cellar

The Glögglkeller specialises in fruit growing and vine cultivation. For generations, various white and red wines have been produced here. We press, for example, Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Merlot Rosé, Vernaccia, Lagrein Scuro and Merlot Cabernet. The welcoming Glögglkeller is located where the wine press once stood. The atmosphere is wonderful: rustic and hospitable!

A warm, traditional welcome.
