Antica Corte Pallavicina in Polesine Parmense, in the province of Parma, built in the early 1400s on a pre-existing fortress, by the Marquis Pallavicino di Polesine!
The castle is popular because of the Michelin Star Restaurant and the unique Culatello Museum. Vips from all over the world are used to reserve their own 'Culatello'. Vips like Clinton had a stop here, to taste this special food.
On the noble floors of the Ancient Court Pallavicina you will admire antique furnishings, art objects, unique furnishings that contain family stories to tell.
In the cellars, the precious culatelli, wines and Parmigiano-Reggiano mature.
Visit to the Court
It starts from the garden, you pass the arch to enter the large courtyard where a small door allows you to enter the ancient kitchen with coffered ceiling and continue in the elegant frescoed rooms with: residence of the Marquis Pallavicino from the thirteenth to the nineteenth century.
Visit to the Museum of Culatello and Masalén
A permanent exhibition itinerary, desired by the Spigaroli Family, linked to a tradition carved into the heart of the Bassa and to the family's history. A path that winds around inside and outside the Old Court between ancient maps, documents, photographs, films, multimedia equipment and objects related to the peasant culture, up to the ancient aging cellars.
