For a stopover on the GR5 or an escapade in the heart of nature, the gîte offers simple and friendly accommodation and traditional southern cuisine.

In a glacial high altitude, mineral environment, we welcome hikers and mountaineers who are passing by, or who want to stay overnight. Weather permitting, the refuge offers an exceptional and unforgettable view of the Dome and the Barre des Écrins.

Il rifugio Re Magi è posto tra le baite di Grange di Valle Stretta e prende il nome dal gruppo montuoso dei Re Magi, con la Punta Baldassarre (3156 m) che lo sovrasta.

High mountain site on the edge of the Clot de l'Homme ravine, under the rochers rouges (red rocks) and the south face of the Pelvoux, with a view of Celse Nièvre and the Selé glacier basin.

Despite the relatively low altitude of this small mountain refuge, it has a ‘high mountain’ feel due to the nearby high summits (Jocelme, Aupillous and Bans).

The Glacier Blanc refuge, easily accessible to everyone, is situated on the edge (left side) of the glacier of the same name, opposite the large, beautiful, wild north face of the Pelvoux, the Pic sans Nom and the Ailefroides.

The Gîte de l’École of the School is installed in the old municipal school of the village of Dormillouse, in 1728 m of height. In this place authentic and steeped in history, Sarah and Paul will receive you summer and winter alike in a friendly and cosy atmosphere.
