Schatzer Lodge - a resort for relaxation for an unforgettable stay in the mountains! Reservations are accepted by phone only.
The Schatzer Lodge is very close to the town of Brixen/Bressanone, on the southern slope of the Gablers, 2004 meters above sea-level. From the “Skihütte“ parking lot, the hideaway is comfortably reached via a wide hiking trail and from there a beloved destination for young and old alike.
The Schatzer Lodge is embedded in the fantastic backdrop of the Aferer Geisler and Peitler Kofels, northwest of the mountain in the Dolomites. In this region of the Dolomites, you can explore your boundaries on numerous routes. Via the direct proximity to the family friendly skiing resort “Plose” (30 minute travel time), the lodges constitutes an ideal vacation destination, for winter athletes as well. Tour goers will be rewarded by a dreamlike deep snow runs in the Gablers. For those unhurried explorers, you can travel step by step into a magical winter landscape on one of our outstretched walking trails or snowshoe hikes.
The sleeping quarters – ranging from rooms with two beds to camp-beds in annexes – comfortably limit themselves to the essentials and are likewise rustic and pragmatic. Showers and toilets are provided, just as is typically for lodges, not in the rooms. However, because the humid rooms are in top notch condition, no one here has to sacrifice comfort. The heart of the Schatzer Lodge strikes a veranda bathed in light and a small quaint tiled stove – since year one the rooms are the place to congress in a pleasant atmosphere.
