The rustic Rifugio Cittá di Milano hut is located at over 2500 m in Solda all'Ortles. Here you will find wide forest landscapes, fresh mountain air and the mighty mountain massif of the glacier area right in front of you. Whether you are in small or large groups, the cosy rooms offer homely overnight accommodation for all preferences. On the large sun terrace you can enjoy delicious South Tyrolean delicacies, refuel thanks to the warm rays of the sun in the cool mountain air, or experience the ultimate highlight - a panoramic sunrise!
For hikes and climbing tours, Rifugio Cittá di Milano hut is often used as a starting point for numerous mountain routes. Mountain lovers can climb up the 3000 metre peaks in summer. Suldenspitze, Cevedale and Königsspitze are waiting for you to be climbed at 3850m! In winter the slopes are free for alpinists and freeriders. Experience impressive ski tours and snowshoe hikes in the fascinating glacier area well into spring.
You can reach the authentic hut either on foot in a wonderful two-hour hike or by cable car. Rifugio Cittá di Milano hut is located just below the mountain station of the Suldner cable car. It is open from mid-June to the end of September and after a short break again from Christmas to the end of April.
