Connecting route between two alpine pastures along the Naturno (Naturns) Almenweg Trail

Approach is from Naturno (Naturns), along the road that leads to Partscheilberg, to the area where the highest-situated farms are located, where several different marked and signposted trails begin at a fork in the road (about 1,220 m; limited parking). From there, follow Trail No. 5 A and signs for the Zehtenalm alpine pastures along the old footpath, which is mostly a moderate grade, up through forested slopes to a flat area, where there is a wayside cross with a spring well (1,570 m). Continue southwest on Trail 5A through the forest up to the Zehtenalm alpine pastures (1,747 m; serves food); around 1.5 hours from Partscheilberg. From Zehtenalm, continue along Trail (Weg) A and/or Path (Steig) A, which is partly flat and partly a little steep, across the steep wooded slopes west to the Franschalm alpine pastures (1,835 m; food here as well); 45 minutes from Zehtenalm.
