Deep inside the desolate Val di Silandro (Schlandrauntal) Valley

In order to shorten the otherwise very long hike, drive from Silandro (Schlanders) at 720 metres to Corzes (Kortsch) and continue along a narrow road leading to Sonnenberghöfen Farms until the road turns sharply to the left and the broad Schlandrauner Almweg Trail (1,227 m; signposted; limited parking) branches off. Follow this trail, marked No. 4, which is flat, across forested hillsides until you reach what was the Mühlgütl Farm (1,353m). Continue alongside a brook, a little more steeply, into the valley until you reach a clearing on your right and what was formerly Schupferhof Farm (1,804 m). Continue for about 20 minutes and you’ll reach the Silandro Alm alpine pastures (1,891 m; serves food), which is above the road on the left hand side; about 2 hours to this point from the beginning. After another flat half-hour hike, you’ll pass the abandoned Mitteralm alpine farm; continue into the valley to the innermost valley floor and to the Kortscher Alm alpine farm (2,004 m; serves food); 2.5 hours from starting point. Descent: follow the described valley trail (just under 2 hours).

Landschaftlich sehr schön. Leider ist der Wanderweg bis zum Ende auf einer breiten Forststraße, die offensichtlich häufiger von Autos befahren ist als erlaubt...das war doch etwas störend.
