Wanderung längs des Frontabschnittes im Ersten Weltkrieg

E' uno dei percorsi tematici dedicati alla Grande Guerra (1914-1918) tra i più belli ed emozionanti del Trentino. Il tracciato ripercorre le  trincee scavate dagli austro-ungarici.

Mount Maggio summit of Italy. Here, at an altitude of 1853 m, the Austro-Italian national border passed until 1918. The peak overlooks the Veneto-Vicentine valleys and the wide plain stretching to Venice. A large cross on the summit commemorates the many Italian and Austrian casualties of the Great War.

A relaxing and oxygenating route, recommended for everyone, families with children (even with pushchairs) and budding bikers who want to experience their first thrill on a mountain bike. It allows visits to the 18th-century Maso Spilzi, the golf course, the Ecken biotope (protected nature area) and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie (16th century).

Val Orsara takes its name from the times when the beautiful valley was populated by bears. There have been no bears for over a century now, but the valley has retained its beauty of wide pastures, sweeping views and a crown of fir forests.

Il dosso del Cherle, tra l'alta Val d'Astico e l'altopiano dei Fiorentini, è noto per l'ominima fortezza austro-ungarica che occupa la sua sommità e della quale oggi rimangono i ruderi. Pur danneggiata dall'opera dei recuperanti e dal prelievo di metallo attuato a suon di mine nel 1936, il Forte - che gli austro-ungarici chiamavano Werk Sebastiano - si propone ancor oggi in tutta la sua estensione e imponenza. Tutt'attorno si estendono ampi pascoli e una rigogliosa foresta d'abeti rossi.

E' uno dei luoghi più affascinanti dell'Alpe Cimbra dove la storia si concilia con la natura, l'arte e la cultura. Guardia è il 'paese dipinto', denominazione che richiama i molti murales che danno colore alle pareti delle case del piccolo centro abitato che in antico era postazione di vedetta del castello di Beseno. Escursione adatta anche alle famiglie con bambini +6/8 anni.  

A beautiful, very scenic, circular itinerary, entirely on a dirt road (former military road) that goes around Mount Toraro. It reaches the Valbona saddle viewpoint and returns to Lake Coe via the Valbona refuge. The views of the Veneto-Vicentine valleys are to be framed!

The term 'gorge' inspires a certain awe, but also arouses curiosity. It refers to the rugged, steep slope that slopes down into the deep Val di Gola. The walk, which is medium/easy, is also suitable for families with children over 6 years old. It offers an exciting panorama of the Lagarine furrow, Beseno Castle and the peaks of Mount Spizzom.

The Rifugio Stella D’Italia is one of the most popular in the area.
