A simple path with historic-cultural character, following the trails of the development of the Non Valley (Val di Non). From the heathen initiations to modern days, the Christian advent and its connection to the life of the indigenous people. Highlight of the tour: the fascinating pilgrimage church of San Romedio.

Coredo and its antique palaces are both the starting and the end point of this tour. From the village’s centre, you start on the main road toward Smarano until you reach path no. 537 on the left side or the Viale dei Sogni, which you can follow through the forest to the Coredo lake.
Now continue to the capital El Palù, on the descending road (no. 537) until you reach Doss Canestrin. Continue downwards (path no. 535), following a narrow path next to rocky climbing walls to reach the church San Romedio. It is located on a rock and serves as an international pilgrimage location. From this point (bar and fenced area with bears) you continue on an asphalt road, which leads through the chasm to Sanzeno. After 400 m you turn right onto a panoramic path that leads you through the rock and brings you directly to the Rhaetian museum of Sanzeno, dedicated to the history of the Non Valley (Val di Non). Continue on the road down to the centre of Sanzeno. To come back to your starting point, you continue downhill on the main road for ca. 400 m until you reach a path on your left (no. 504). It leads you through apple orchards, enters into a forest and, eventually, brings you to Ciavasoz. Now you can reach Coredo easily via the asphalt road (no. 504).

As soon as the path (no. 504) turns into a small bridle path you can turn right onto a different path that leads to a giant spruce and enters a gravelled road (that continues to be asphalted). You can reach Coredo within 20 minutes.
