Informationen zur Tour Circular path between the alpine hut Maddalene and the Olmi peak
Directions
Starting with your car from Lanza, you follow the asphalted road (no. 113) until you reach the village Pont da Vat, where you can park your car close to the no-parking zone. You follow the same road, cross the river and surmount (partly strong incline) the 700 m of difference in altitude until you reach the alpine hut Maddalene. Before reaching it, you can admire the view of the Lavazzè peak and the ridge of the Olmi peak. The path (no. 133) continues to the right and northwards and leads over a strong incline to a mountain saddle, which forms the border to South Tyrol (panorama over the Non-valley, the Roen peak and the Lake of Santa Giustina). You descend (continuously following path no. 133) in direction of the Brez pass and cross the slopes of the mountains Lavazzè and Goldlahnspitz. The path continues over a series of almost flat alpine pastures, which are densely covered with water veins. After reaching the Brez pass, you descend, following the signs on pillars and stones, on the left side (path no. 19B) in the direction of the Maritscherbergalm. Now the path continues to be ascending (no. 19, with constant incline) to the Termen pass and descends again back to the alpine hut Maddalene (path no. 113). Now you can go back to the starting point via the forest road you started on.
