Alpine and Nordic skiing, snow and sun at altitude
In the Northern Alps, nestled between Italy and the Vanoise National Park, opens the Haute Maurienne Vanoise. A ready-made area with 10 mountain villages and 6 ski resorts (Valfréjus, La Norma, Aussois, Val Cenis, Bessans, Bonneval-sur-Arc) where you can practice alpine skiing and Nordic disciplines.
A sporty atmosphere because the alpine ski areas offer beautiful levels with peaks of the slopes which culminate between 2700 and 3000m, slopes of all levels, fun facilities for all the family and all practices such as boardercross, slalom stadiums, snowparks and above all a quality snow cover and very well maintained slopes.
At an altitude of 1750m, the Nordic site of Bessans, with its international biathlon stadium, allows athletes and everyone else to enjoy skating, cross-country skiing and biathlon in a setting reminiscent of the wide open spaces of the "Great North".
Exceptional spots for freeriding
Virgin snow and a powder that makes many people dream, come and make your mark in Haute Maurienne Vanoise! This is what the freeriders of the Freeride World Tour Qualifier do during the Bonneval-sur-Arc and Valfréjus stages.
The mechanical ascents take you up to 3000m, all that's left is to enjoy the descent to the fullest in a magical horn!
The frequent "returns from the East" are bringing beautiful snow totals to the resorts of Valfréjus, La Norma, Val Cenis and Bonneval-sur-Arc. With an adapted safety equipment, what a pleasure!
