The Gummererhof lies high above the Brixen valley basin, nestling amongst chestnut groves and vineyards. In autumn, when the days draw in and get cooler, a lot of 'törggelling' goes on in the farmhouse, which involves finishing off the day with tasty farm fare and a glass of the season's new wine. House 'Sekt' (sparkling wine), made from the native 'Blatterle' grape, is a special feature of the Gummererhof farm.
