Guests can enjoy great views of the surrounding mountains and the whole Eisack valley from the sun terrace of Ahner farm. Inside, the panelled dining room provides a cosy setting. Kitchen & Cellar Ahner's cheeseboard snack with home-made speck and 'kaminwurzen' (smoked sausage), cheese board with 'Ahner grey cheese', beef consomme with herby frittata strips, 'Speck' dumplings or liver dumplings, trio of 'Schlutzkrapfen' ravioli, dumplings and gnocchi, a variety of ravioli filled with nettle, wild garlic, pumpkin, 'Graukäse' cheese or fresh cheese according to season. Home-made egg noodles with 'Speck' and leek or game ragu or asparagus. Ahner's herb burger from farm's own beef and home-made herb bread, gulash from farm's own young cattle with 'Speck' dumplings and herb salad, roasted potatoes and onions with vegetables. Sweet dumplings with fruit sauce, various cakes and desserts. Cordials: elderflower, peppermint, melissa and lemon balm.
