Alternativ kann man die zusätzlichen Höhenmeter zum Peilstein noch mitnehmen, was aber für Familien dann schon ordentlich ist. Als Belohnung laden die Innere Falkomai-Alm und die Mariolberger Alm im Abstieg zur Rast ein.
Die Tour bietet tolle Ausblicke über das komplette idyllische Ultental sowie die Sarntaler Alpen und die Dolomiten.
